Hawks Stay Perfect

Bears Down Royal Lepage

The Hawks defeated Shooter's 7-3 to go to a perfect 3-0 in the EHGHL Playoffs, while the Nine Mile River Bears downed Tim Isenor Royal Lepage, 6-3.

In the first game of the night, playoff scoring leader, Scotty Sack had 3 goals and 2 assists to lead the Hawks to their third straight playoff win.  Tyler Leblanc, Travis Nevin, Robert Syliboy and Colton Willis each notched a single goal in a winning effort.

John Kinney, John Kozier and Aaron Macquary potted goals for Shooter's, who now drop to 0-3 in the playoffs.

In the 10pm game, regular season scoring leader, Bryan Gillis, had 2 goals and 2 assists to lead the Bears to a 6-3 win over Royal Lepage.  Tyson Aalders, Kody Blois, Justin Campbell and Chris Grace had solo markers in the win.

Grant Cook, Joel Isenor and Andrew Smith scored for Royal Lepage.

Sunday's games will see Nine Mile River and Penn Hills go at it in the 9pm game, while the Ryson Rockets and Royal Lepage face off at 10pm.
